Hello,

You are invited to participate in a questionnaire on the level of brand empowerment of virtual communities within social networking sites (Facebook and Twitter) on Aston University as part of a Masters dissertation. In this questionnaire, participants will be asked questions about why they choose to interact with Aston University on social networking sites and if influenced by other users within them. Potential students, current students of all years and departments (Undergraduate and Postgraduate) and alumni are all welcome to participate. It will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the questionnaire at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions.

Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. Your information will be coded and will remain confidential. Participants will have the option to enter the £25 iTunes voucher prize competition.
