Welcome! Thanks for taking the time to complete the following series of questions and survey choices which will help me to custom-design your wedding ceremony. All ceremonies are unique and one-of-a-kind, but these responses help me to determine language, feeling, sentiment, and order of service. You will have a lot of input along the way, so let's get started! ~ Rev. Scott

First, we'll take a look at some "Opening Remarks" or "Opening Words." The rating system is pretty self-explanatory!

Remember, you are responding on sentiment and wording, but that doesn't mean this will be your final choice! As you move through these options, it will allow me to see what types of components suit you so that we can capture the essence of how you want to express the love you share.

Ok, let's get started!

Good morning/afternoon/evening. You have been invited here by (Bride) and (Groom) to share this wonderful moment in their lives. This is a very special day for them and it is made even more special because you, whom they love, are here to share it with them. So, this morning/afternoon/evening, as you witness their vows, I would ask you to join me in giving them the blessing of your love, and in so doing, help to strengthen their union.

Opening Remarks/Words

Good morning/afternoon/evening. (Bride) and (Groom) have come together to declare their love in the presence of this company. We ask that the promises and hopes of this union be realized. May their relationship grow as they bask in the joy of giving to each other and the excitement of shared discoveries. May they have the patience to listen, the capacity to understand, and the compassion to give comfort. May this day be a true celebration not only for them, but for all of us. May we be inspired by the example of their love, enlarged by their joy and delighted by the happiness they have brought into our midst.
