Market Survey for an indoor play area geared toward small children ( birth to 7 or 10 years)

Dear Fellow Moms, Dads and Grandparents,

I have long had a vision to start a business that provides healthy food in an environment that is fun for our children and enjoyable for us. I currently live in the Seattle area, but have deep ties to Wenatchee and am currently putting together a business plan to bring my vision to life in the Wenatchee area. Part of the planning process requires sufficient market analysis to determine if there might be demand for a business like this in the Wenatchee area. So I would greatly appreciate a few moments of your time to become familiar with my vision and provide me with your input via a quick survey.

The first part of my vision would be to provide a safe place your kids to burn off energy and play. The environment would include a wide variety of play areas that might include: bouncy house, play structures, ball pit, kitchen, train room, puzzle tables, reading corning, etc. We would include a special area for babies and crawlers that is safe from the more energized play of the older children, with age appropriate toys and activities.

The second part of my vision would be to surround this play area with a café that would provide a healthy menu (including beer and wine) in an environment that is enjoyable for both adults as well as kids. As you have probably experienced, dining out with small children is most often focused more on timing everything so that the kids don’t get too antsy, and this results in rushing your own meal. Wouldn’t you rather be in an environment where you can watch you kids play and enjoy
your own meal while the kids are able to play?
