YIS AP Survey

Thank you for taking this survey. This survey is to help me become better at what I do. Please be honest with your answers. I am not looking for inflated answers to help my self-esteem. I truly need your input for me to reflect on what I did this year so I can improve.

I also would like your honest feedback on other questions to help me move forward in my career. I am looking at becoming a principal and would love your input on what staff members need out of their principal.

At the beginning of the year, the staff came up with expectations for me in regards with my job. Please rate the following expectations as to how well that I completed these expectations this year. Please be honest.

* Make sure staff and students feel safe.

* Provide Feedback (Constructive Criticism).

* Keep the teacher in the loop on what happens (consequences, etc.).

* When you hear conflicting stories from the student and the staff member, respect the staff enough to believe what they say.

If you could create a principal that meets the essential requirements you need to be most effective, what qualities would this person have to help you achieve this?

Thank you so much for taking this survey. I really appreciate it. I have truly loved working here and have learned a lot about myself and who I want to be as an administrator. There is a reason that this school is a 5 star school; this staff is amazing!. I wish the students understood how privileged they are to be able to come to school here.
