Personalizable websites are more and more popular in the Internet world. This research addresses the questions of why users like the personalizable website and how the personalization features affect users' perception and acceptance of the website. An empirical study is conducted to test user perceptions and acceptance of different types of personalizable websites. The findings will provide implications to both the personalization theory and the practice of e-commerce website development.
