Instrumental directors' preferences in teaching non-traditional music courses
The purpose of this study is to investigate instrumental directors� preferences in teaching non-traditional music courses. Several questions to be addressed in this study include: 1) What courses other than large ensembles would instrumental directors consider teaching?, 2) Does the amount of teaching experience influence preference for teaching certain music courses?, and 3) How do instrumental music educators view the implementation of non-traditional music courses into the curriculum?
