Teaching New Literacies: An Action Research Project

I am interested in whether students are being implicitly taught the skills for the new literacies of the internet, which for this action research project will be considered the skills necessary for students to access relevant information, critically evaluate its accuracy, and synthesize and communicate the information. I will conduct a survey of teachers in my school to find out what their perceptions of their own skills are, whether they teach new literacies, and which subjects they think should be responsible for teaching them.
