Corporate Social Responsibility: An Employee Perspective
This study examines the business case for corporate social responsibility (CSR) from an internal stakeholder perspective. It examines employees' evaluation of their organisation's corporate citizenship and its relationship with employee commitment. It also examines the influence of internal corporate communication on the evaluation process. The results of the study could help to determine whether employees are key drivers of CSR in an organisation and help the organisation to create constructive corporate citizenship programmes and communications which might have greater chances of success and sustainability.
