Search Versus Classify

This is a proposal for a dissertation as part of the requirements for the award of an MSc in Records Management. It will necessarily introduce the topic and engage in some aspects which will be replicated in the dissertation itself, in particular the literature review. The dissertation will concentrate on electronic records management, this does not dismiss the fact that physical objects (including paper) can have an electronic index or be classified in ways akin to the electronic environment.
