Modelling port choice in a developing country, the case of Morocco
The objective is to use stated preferences discrete choice analysis techniques to model the choice of a logistic pathway by a Moroccan shipper for unitised imports or exports. We want to explain and discuss the relative importance of the different variables of the port selectin process and draw conclusion in the broader context of transport infrastructure development in developing countries. The model would also be used to estimate future port throughputs in the ports of Morocco.
