Analysis of ICT Energy Consumption at Babergh District Council and other East of England Local Authorities & a Proposal to reduce the Carbon Footprint

1. To Investigate, analyse and report on:
� Existing power consumption of the ICT infrastructure at Babergh District Council;
� Potential technology/methods to reduce power consumption;
� Power consumption of ICT at other Authorities and any efforts to reduce/offset their ICT carbon footprint.
2. To reduce, in a measurable way, the carbon footprint of Babergh District Council by reducing or mitigating the energy consumption of the Authority�s ICT infrastructure.
