This research will be completed to fulfill the thesis requirements for the Masters of Education degree. The research looks at what factors motivate student teachers to participate (or not) in voluntary technology training opportunities. This research seeks to pinpoint the factors affecting attendance at voluntary technology training events (i.e. cost, time constraints, lack of interest in topics.) The objective of this research is to identify factors which positively impact student attendance at voluntary technology training events, and suggest methods to increase student attendance.
