Young Adult Volunteerism: Motivation and Satisfaction

The purpose of this study is to understand the motivational reasons for volunteering and satisfaction level of current American Red Cross volunteers in the Midwest between the ages of 18 to 24. Understanding what motivates this age group and how well their current volunteer experience is meeting this function will aid in recruitment and retention techniques used by chapters to ensure the continuation of a steady volunteer workforce.
