Use your own codebook for topic analysis.

QuestionPro AI automatically analyzes all open-ended text data to generate relevant topics and sub-topics. However, if you upload your own codebook, the system will bypass auto-generation and instead tag all responses based on the topics and sub-topics defined in your uploaded file.

This feature is especially useful when you want to maintain consistency in your topic structure, such as when tracking trends over time.

To use your own codebook, please follow the following steps:

• Step 1: Navigate to the TextAI » Click on Create dashboard » Select advanced analytics » Click on continue to proceed



• Step 2: Select the source and survey.



• Step 3: Select an existing industry or create a new one



• Step 4: Add the goal for the topic modeling » Enable Upload codebook » Download



• Step 5: Add the topics » Add the sub-topics
Sub-topic need to be comma separated.



• Step 6: Upload the Excel file back in the system and and click on create.

Once you upload the codebook, QuestionPro AI will begin processing the responses based on the provided instructions. The processing time typically ranges from 1 to 8 hours, depending on the volume of responses.
You can proceed to add the desired widgets to your dashboard immediately. The data will begin populating in real-time as the processing progresses.
