Why Multilingual 360 Feedback Surveys Provide Better Insights

No matter how much experience you have, or whether you are a performance management enthusiast, giving constructive feedback can be challenging. This is why organizations who care about development put a lot of thought and work into creating the right culture where giving feedback starts to become more natural.

When it comes to giving 360 developmental feedback the stakes are often even higher. Employees are generally invited to provide feedback on performance of someone who is highly influential in the organization. Also, in most cases a person is selected to participate in the process because their manager, peer, or team member thinks their viewpoint can provide great value in their development. Hence, those providing feedback want to make sure they are objective and thoughtful, and that the person who receives their feedback is able to get the most out of it.

As an increasing number of organizations are becoming global, there are more languages being spoken in the workplace. Even if English, for example, is the primary language being used in an organization, it may not be most employees’ primary language, or the language that all employees are the most comfortable with.
