From daily productivity tools to strategic decision support, AI is quickly becoming embedded in everyday workflows. However, the research shows that the success of workplace AI adoption is not determined by technology alone.
Organizations that actively align employee training and upskilling with AI rollout report dramatically higher employee confidence, familiarity, and productivity gains. In contrast, companies that introduce AI tools without structured workforce preparation risk creating a growing gap in readiness.

The study highlights what can be described as an emerging AI enablement divide. Employees whose companies align AI adoption with workforce training are significantly more confident and frequent users of AI tools.
For example, when companies fully align employee training with the introduction of AI tools, 81% of employees report extreme familiarity with AI. When alignment is only partial, that number drops to just 23%. Daily AI usage follows the same pattern, with 59% using AI several times per day at aligned companies compared to 18% at partially aligned organizations.
