QuestionPro UX supports four primary research methodologies to capture comprehensive qualitative insights:
Creating a Usability Test involves a 5-step process to define your interface, audience, and tasks:
Step 1: Basics
Choose your interface (Website, Mobile App, Prototype, or HTML/CSS) and supported device types including Desktop, Android, or iPhone. Here you will also set the URL, language, number of testers, and duration. You may also enable face recording with emotion recognition.
Step 2: Audience
Select your recruitment source: the QuestionPro UX curated panel, your own participants via custom link, or your own custom panel. You can define strict demographics (Age, Gender, Income, etc.) and add technical or verbal screeners. You may also require testers to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
Step 3: Scenario & Tasks
Define the research scenario and choose whether to start with an Impression Test. Add specific tasks, categorizing them by usability or completion requirements.
Step 4: Post-test
Configure survey questions and psychometric inclusions like the System Usability Questionnaire (SUS) or Net Promoter Score (NPS). You can also enable AI analysis for video summaries or UX Crowd for crowdsourced analysis (available for orders of 10+ testers).
Step 5: Review & Checkout
Review all configurations and place the order using the appropriate credits based on your requirements.
Interviews and Focus Groups follow a similar structure but focus on conversational scripts and scheduling:
The final step for all test types is the Review phase. Ensure all demographic filters, screeners, and analysis options are correct. The system will calculate the required credits; once confirmed, you can place the order to begin recruitment or scheduling.
