QuestionPro UX is a platform used by companies to see and hear how real people interact with their websites, apps, and prototypes. As a tester, you will record your screen and your voice while performing specific tasks, providing "think-aloud" feedback to help designers improve the user experience.

To participate in research studies, you will need the following:

• A Computer or Mobile Device: Tests can be performed on Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android depending on the study requirements.
• A Stable Internet Connection: High-speed internet is required to upload video recordings.
• A Working Microphone: Your voice feedback is a critical part of the test results.
• QuestionPro UX Software: You may be asked to install a browser extension (for desktop) or a mobile app (for smartphone tests).

The most valuable tests are those where the researcher can clearly understand your thought process. Follow these tips:

• Think Aloud: Constantly narrate what you are looking at, what you are trying to do, and any frustrations or delights you experience.
• Find a Quiet Space: Ensure there is no background noise or music that might drown out your voice.
• Follow Instructions: Read each task carefully. Do not skip ahead or rush through the process.
• Be Honest: Researchers are looking for real feedback. Do not worry about hurting anyone's feelings; if something is confusing, say so.

Yes. QuestionPro UX only records your screen and your audio during the active test session. You will always see a clear indicator when recording is live. We recommend closing any personal tabs, windows, or sensitive documents before you begin your recording.

Some studies may request "Face Recording" to capture emotional reactions. This is always optional and will be clearly disclosed before you start the test.

If the website you are testing crashes or your internet drops, try to refresh the page. If the issue persists, you can use the "Report an Issue" button within the recorder. Please note that if a recording is not successfully uploaded, the researcher may not be able to compensate you for that session.

Compensation varies by study and is managed by the organization or panel provider that invited you to the test. Generally, tests are reviewed for quality within a few business days. Once a session is approved as a "qualified" completion, payment is processed according to the specific terms of the panel you joined.
