The Panel feature allows you to create customized screeners, manage recruited panelists, and integrate participants directly into your studies. You can use it to build a pool of qualified respondents, segment them with tags, and invite them to specific studies based on their profile fit.
To access the Panel feature, open your study and click the Panel tab in the left-hand sidebar. This opens the Panel dashboard where you can manage both your screeners and your list of potential panelists.
Click the Create Screener button to begin. Enter a title, description, and the estimated time required to complete the screener. These screeners are essential for qualifying participants before they are officially added to your panel.
After setting up the screener details, add your specific criteria using the Add Question button. You can choose from several question types and mark specific entries as required to ensure you capture all necessary data.
Each screener can include various question types to effectively capture participant demographics. Supported types include:
Once your screener is live, you can generate a shareable URL to distribute to potential participants. As they submit their responses, their data will automatically populate in your Panel view for review.
In the Panel tab, you will see a list of all candidates who have completed your screeners. You can use advanced filters to narrow the list by demographics, custom tags, or specific answers. You can also perform bulk actions, such as inviting a group to a study or tagging them for future longitudinal research.
Click on any entry to open a detailed panelist profile. This view includes:
You can trigger a direct invitation to join your study from this screen.
After finding the right profiles, click Invite to Study. Once they accept, they will transition to an active participant status in your study, allowing you to track their progress alongside other respondents.
We recommend using tags (e.g., "High Engagement" or "Power User") to identify the best participants for repeat recruitment.
