- Avoid complex questions – No one wants to or likes to answer complex surveys. Look at it this way – would you like to answer a survey that asks you extremely complicated questions just about an event you went to? Keep the questions simple that gets you the answers you need and avoid the chaff!
- Get your NPS question in early – Events thrive on references and your NPS question is a good indicator of if people like your event and will tell a few others about it. Try and get your NPS question in the start – preferably the first question. Identifying promoters for your event should be high up your priority list.
- Keep your rating scales consistent – If your survey template consists of “satisfactory” questions, don’t replace them in some questions for numerical scales. It’s confusing.
