How to enable/disable the back button or exit link?

When you create a new survey, the back button and exit link is enabled by default. To disable them,

  1. Go to: Customer Experience (Select Survey) » Edit » Design
  2. Under the Design tab, click on Display Settings
  3. Here, you can enable or disable the back button and exit link

Can I customize the text for the "Exit Survey" link?

No. At this point we do not allow for customizing the text for these navigation items.

Is the back button supported on all question types?

If your survey contains Max-Diff, Conjoint, Community Recruitment or the Randomizer question type, the back button will not be available to respondents.

Can the user go "back" multiple pages?

Yes, the user can go back multiple pages. However, data will not be retained for the following question types:

  • Tubepulse
  • Signature
  • HotSpot
  • Heatmap
  • Store locator
