Answer Option Limits
When a Multiple Choice question is added to the survey and if the answer options exceed 300, the system will automatically change the question type from Multiple Choice to Lookup Table.
- After adding a Multiple Choice question, click on Edit Options in Bulk.
- If you enter more than 300 answer options, a note will appear as shown in the screenshot below.
- Then click on Save.
- The system will show a pop-up message if you wish to proceed and convert the question into a Lookup Table.
How does it work?
This is how the question will look after the changes are saved. In Settings, you can view that the question has changed from Multiple Choice to Lookup Table.
Supported questions: Multiple Choice questions
- Single Select
- Multi Select
- Drop-down Menu
Note: Questions with more than 300 options are changed to a lookup table question for performance reasons.
