Customizing survey URLs will help you to create an easy-to-remember and easy-to-share URL for your surveys. Custom URLs help with brand recognition and improved response rates since respondents can identify with your brand with additional ease.
Example:
https://mycompany.questionpro.com/product-feedback
Go to: Login » Surveys (Select Survey) » Edit
Click on the Edit (Pencil) icon for the survey URL.
On the popup, start by creating a workspace URL. The Workspace URL will create a unique base URL for your organization.
This is a one-time process. Once you have created the workspace URL, you will not be asked to do so again. Workspace URL should be at least 4 characters long. It can contain lowercase characters a-z, numbers 0-9, hyphen/dash [-]. Spaces are not allowed in the workspace URL. In this example, we will create a workspace URL: https://trymyui.questionpro.com
We can now enter the custom name for the URL. In this example, this survey is for quarter 1 feedback so we will set up the custom URL as q1feedback. The URL for the survey will be: https://trymyui.questionpro.com/q1feedback
Yes, you can edit the workspace URL. In order to edit it, Login into your Account >> Organization >> Settings >> Settings >> Update Company Settings >> Modify Workspace URL. Workspace URL is used as the base URL for all your surveys and editing the workspace URL will disable access to your surveys if the links are shared. For this reason,we do not recommend you to remove or edit the workspace URL.
The customized URL is a non-tracking link for the survey. Responses will not be tracked and linked to the respondents by default. However, you can pass custom variables along with the customized survey URL to track respondents.
No. This option has been removed. If you already have a short survey URL for an existing survey, you may continue using it. However, you cannot modify or add short URLs for new surveys. For existing surveys, you can reset the short URL and create a new custom URL instead.
