Connect QuestionPro MCP Servers to Claude
Introduction
QuestionPro MCP servers let Claude interact directly with your QuestionPro account — creating surveys, analyzing responses, building dashboards, and more — all from a conversation. Instead of opening the QuestionPro web app, you describe what you need and Claude handles the workflow on your behalf.
This article walks you through adding a QuestionPro MCP server to Claude as a custom connector. The connection uses OAuth, so no API keys are required. You authenticate once with your QuestionPro account and Claude receives scoped, revocable access.
What do I need before I start?
Before adding a QuestionPro MCP connector to Claude, make sure you have:
- A QuestionPro account. If you do not have one, sign up at questionpro.com.
- A Claude account on a Free, Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise plan. Custom connectors are available on all plans. Free users are limited to one custom connector.
- The MCP server URL for the QuestionPro capability you want to connect. You will get this from mcp.questionpro.com in the next step.
How do I find the MCP server URL?
Each QuestionPro capability (surveys, BI, CX, and so on) has its own MCP server with a unique URL. To find it:
- Go to mcp.questionpro.com.
- Browse the list of available MCP servers and select the one you want to connect.
- Copy the MCP server URL shown on the server's detail page.
You will paste this URL into Claude in the steps below. You can repeat this process to connect multiple QuestionPro MCP servers.
How do I add a QuestionPro MCP server to Claude (Pro or Max plan)?
If you are on an individual Pro or Max plan:
- Open Claude and navigate to Customize > Connectors.
- Click the + button, then select Add custom connector.
- Paste the MCP server URL you copied from mcp.questionpro.com.
- Click Add to save the connector.
- Complete the OAuth authentication flow. You will be prompted to sign in to QuestionPro and approve the requested permissions.
The connector will now appear in your connectors list. Repeat these steps to add additional QuestionPro MCP servers.
How do I add a QuestionPro MCP server to Claude (Team or Enterprise plan)?
On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner must first add the connector to the organization before members can use it.
Steps for Owners:
- Navigate to Organization settings > Connectors.
- Click the Add button.
- Hover over Custom, then select Web.
- Paste the MCP server URL you copied from mcp.questionpro.com.
- Click Add to save.
Steps for members after the connector has been added by an Owner:
- Navigate to Customize > Connectors.
- Find the QuestionPro connector in the list. It will be labeled Custom.
- Click Connect and complete the OAuth flow to authenticate with your QuestionPro account.
Each member connects individually using their own QuestionPro credentials, so Claude only accesses data that the individual user has permission to view.
How do I enable a QuestionPro connector in a conversation?
Once a connector has been added and authenticated, you can enable it for individual conversations:
- In Claude, click the + button in the lower left of the chat interface.
- Select Connectors.
- Toggle on the QuestionPro connector you want to use in the current conversation.
Claude can now use the connector's tools during the conversation. Describe your task in plain language — for example, "Create a 10-question customer satisfaction survey with branching logic" — and Claude will carry out the workflow using your QuestionPro account.
How do I remove a QuestionPro connector from Claude?
To remove a custom connector:
- Navigate to Customize > Connectors.
- Locate the QuestionPro connector you want to remove.
- Click Remove or select the three-dot menu next to the connector and choose Remove.
- Follow the prompts to confirm removal.
Note: If you need to update the connector's MCP server URL, remove it first and re-add it with the updated URL. You can also revoke Claude's access directly from your QuestionPro account under Settings > Connected Apps.
