Can’t connect to QuestionPro?
- Verify your API Key is correct.
- Ensure you have selected the correct Data Center (US, EU, CA, etc.).
- Confirm your internet connection is stable.
- If using a corporate network, check if a firewall or proxy is blocking Power BI from connecting to QuestionPro servers.
- Restart Power BI after making any configuration changes.
Missing data fields?
- Ensure the survey has at least one response, empty surveys will return no data.
- Check if you selected the correct Answer Display Type (coded values vs full text).
- Verify you have chosen the correct Response Type (completed responses only vs all responses).
- If changes were made to the survey structure, refresh the Power BI extract to sync fields.
Connector not appearing in Power BI?
- Confirm the QuestionPro.mez file is in the correct Custom connectors folder for your OS.
- Ensure you are running a Power BI version that supports custom connectors.
Data refresh is slow
- Filter the data within Power BI to reduce the volume of records being loaded.
- Use Completed Responses Only if partial data is not required.
- Ensure your network speed meets Power BI’s recommended bandwidth for live data connections.
