Cross-Tabulation - Grouping

When running cross-tabulation analysis, if you have answer options which need to be analyzed as a group, you can do so using the cross-tabulation grouping tool. You can also hide options or groups that you wish to exclude from cross-tab analysis.

Go to: My Surveys (Select Survey) » Analytics

Click on Cross-Tabulation under the analysis menu.

Select the report for which you wish to set up grouping.

• Hover on the question for which you wish to group options
• On hover, you will see the grouping icon, click on this icon.

• On the popup, you can create groups by dragging the options for each group.
• You can also choose to show/hide certain options or groups. In this example, we will hide respondents who are under 18.
In this example, we will group data for the age groups as Adults under 45 and 45 and over
• Report will refresh and you can see the grouped data

Yes. When creating groups, you can choose to hide options that you want to exclude from analysis. You can also hide groups and all options under the group will be removed from analysis.

Hidden options or groups will be excluded from cross-tab analysis.
