Tracking survey respondents

Respondent/Survey Tracking helps tie individual responses back to the respondent. Survey tracking also allows you to better use features such as survey reminders, survey notifications, gift voucher email, etc. much more efficiently.

Select the surveys you would like to send an invitation for
Go To: Distribute » Email » Compose » Click on insert survey link » Tracked Respondent

Here is what each setting signify:

• 1. Tracked Respondents: This will add a tracked link to the email invitation. The system will track the respondents details if this link is added.
• 2. Anonymous: This will add an anonymous link to the email invitation. The system will not track the respondents details if this link is added.
• 3. Survey Link Text: This is the hyperlinked text your respondent will see in the survey email invitation. Ensure you have modified this text as per your need before you try to add a survey links to the email invite

No, when you add a link to a website, the responses taken using this link will remain anonymous.

• A suggested solution is such cases (where you are not sending an email invitation to the survey but need to identify the respondent) is to add a question in your survey asking the respondents to enter their email address.

You can generate a list of unique survey link per respondents using the Export batch option. To know how to set this up go to export batch for external distribution.

• Survey Reminders: You can send reminders targeted to only those respondents who have not yet completed or started the survey
• Survey Distribution Statistics: You will be able to effectively monitor the status of your survey's distribution
• Notification Email: You can send a completion email to your respondent.
