Video Analysis – Digsite
In Digsite, you can automatically review participant video responses to uncover key themes, sentiments, and insights—helping you understand what people say and how they feel. The AI-powered workspace turns hours of footage into visual summaries and sentiment-based theme visuals, so you can focus on the “why” behind participant behavior rather than manual transcription or tagging.

Select your study, then click the blue camera icon in the left sidebar. This opens the Video Analysis workspace.
The Overview page gives you an at-a-glance readout of all video responses for the selected task:
- Theme bar-chart: See which topics are mentioned most and their sentiment colouring.
- AI summary panel: A concise paragraph capturing the collective story.
- Participant gallery: Clickable thumbnails that jump into individual responses.
Click any thumbnail to open a participant’s page. Below the video you’ll find:
- Theme tags: Auto-detected topics (e.g., “Ease of cleaning”).
- Transcript tab: Timestamped, speaker-labelled verbatim text.
Switch to Key Takeaways to see actionable bullet-points automatically generated from the participant’s response.
The Summary tab provides a tight, AI-written synopsis of that participant’s message—perfect for quick scans.
Highlight any text in Summary, Key Takeaways, or Transcript. Choose Save as quote from the pop-up menu to file it for reporting.
