I’d like to display 4 videos to respondents, each followed by the same set of 5 questions. What’s the best way to set this up?

You can achieve this using the Block Looping feature. Follow the steps below:

Step 1: Upload your 4 videos to the Media Library. Click the three dots next to each video and select “Get HTML.”

Step 2: Add a Presentation Text question to display the video, followed by 5 follow-up questions.

Step 3: Navigate to Block Looping → Enable Looping for Block → Paste the 4 video “Get HTML” links one by one into the Piping Text 1 fields.

Step 4: In the Presentation Text question, insert the piping text ${piping_text_1} so the system dynamically displays each video in its respective loop.

How can I save the text of the current loop that is shown calling ${piping_text_1}

I"m randomizing loops, so I need to save on an open-ended that will be hidden, the option that is currently looped, so I"m trying to save on a custom variable, custom20 for example, the text of ${piping_text_1} so I can then use data prepopulation function an open ended and automatically save the value and that question. This is important so I can know which option they were evaluating

How can I add translated versions of piped text when using block looping in a multilingual survey?

I’m not sure where or how to enter the translated piped text for each language, so any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you!

Are there any restrictions on the use of logic when the block loop is activated?

I have set up a question block that is to be repeated in a loop. Are there any limitations on the use of logic (show/hide option, show/hide question, etc.) within the block?
