Chain Survey Function in CX (Customer Experience Tool)

I have set up a chain survey to allow participants to leave contact details to attend a focus group discussion. I am trying to preview the survey and I get this message . "Survey is in draft mode. Data collection is paused." when I go to the chain survey.
