Disabling Capture Location Data only prevents QuestionPro from recording geographic information such as country, city, or map location; it does not stop the system from logging the respondent’s IP address, which is still stored for platform security and fraud-prevention purposes.
To make your survey responses anonymous, you should enable Respondent Anonymity Assurance (RAA) from Survey → Edit → Settings → Respondent Anonymity Assurance (RAA). When RAA is enabled, identifying metadata — including IP visibility — is removed from reports and exports, ensuring respondents remain anonymous to survey users, even though the platform may still temporarily log the IP internally for security reasons.
