How can I bulk delete survey responses that match specific criteria in QuestionPro?

If you need to delete multiple survey responses based on specific criteria, you can use Data Filters to identify the required responses and then delete them in bulk.


Steps

1. Navigate to Survey → Edit → Analytics → Analysis → Data Filters.

2. Create a Data Filter using the criteria you want to apply (for example, responses where a specific question has a particular answer).

3. Save the filter.

4. Click the response count displayed for the filter to open the Response Viewer with only the matching responses.

5. Select the responses using the checkboxes and click Delete.


Important:

Deleted responses cannot be recovered. We recommend exporting your survey data before deleting any responses. Please refer to this help file for more details on Data Filter: https://www.questionpro.com/help/data-segmentation.html

How can we exclude specific metadata fields during transfer?

We’re looking to transfer only certain metadata fields — for example, we want to keep the IP address but exclude others. Is there an option to selectively disable specific metadata fields?

In particular, the “Metadata Country” field is causing confusion because we already use a separate “Country” variable. Any guidance on how to prevent this specific field from being transferred would be appreciated.
