If I send a survey via an email list and half of the respondents have already completed it, then I enable the thank you email notification. Will those who complete the survey afterward receive the thank you email notification?

Yes, respondents who complete the survey after enabling the thank you email notification will receive it. However, those who completed the survey before the notification was enabled will not receive it.
